With the recent developments within the LISA Consortium — following the adoption of the mission by both ESA and NASA — existing Working Groups are being refined, while new Member Groups are being established by institutions, universities, and countries eager to contribute meaningfully to this groundbreaking scientific endeavor.
Greece has officially formed its own Member Group, named "ΛISA-GR", comprising 16 core members and a broader community of contributing scientists. The group is led by Dr. Nikolaos Karnesis of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, who was elected as the Team Leader. Kyriakos from CENTRA-IST has been elected as the group’s Representative to the LISA Consortium Council.
