Hirotada Okawa was a ERC researcher at GRIT in Lisbon, and is now assistant professor in Waseda. He is an expert in Numerical Relativity and Partial Differential Equations, and has done important work in the construction of initial data for dynamical spacetimes and in studies of fundamental fields in strong gravity.
