Dynamics in Strong Gravity Universe

May. 14, 2018

An increasing number of gravitational wave detection expected from now on will provide an entirely new way of learning about our universe. It is this new way that makes it possible to identify true gravity theory as well as true nature of invisible (Dark-Matter/Dark-Energy) environments by exploring dynamics in strong gravity universe. This includes the study of:

1- Fundamental fields and black holes.
2- High-energy black hole collisions and wave extraction.
3- Modified gravity theories and their smoking guns.
4- Dynamics and GW emission from ultracompact objects.
5- Tests of the nature of compact objects.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together experts working on various aspects of strong gravity, study in particular the topics listed above and develop necessary techniques for capturing highly nonlinear phenomena in truly strong gravity universe by concerted effort of numerical and analytical methods.
