Jorge Rocha, who was a GRIT/CENTRA member and postdoctoral researcher until last year, was awarded the SPRG prize for outstanding researcher. The Portuguese Society for Relativity and Gravitation (SPRG) was established in 2015 and now awards a yearly prize for its younger and most active members.
