BICEP2 experiment is releasing today, March 17 at 16:00 the results of their CMB observations. There is a strong possibility that the first direct detection of gravitational waves is announced, carrying imprints of inflation (+).
The public announcement will be followed live from the Dept. Meeting Room on the second floor. Results will be commented by Profs. Vitor Cardoso and José Sande Lemos, CENTRA researchers.
