Charged AdS black holes with scalar hairs and holographic duals

We discuss a four dimensional model of AdS gravity with a scalar field which is nonminimally coupled to a U(1) gauge field by a term sin f(φ)F². Below a critical temperature, the Reisser-Nordstrom-AdS black hole undergoes a phase transition. We give a gravitational and holographic description of the new phase, which is a charged black hole dressed with a neutral scalar field. Using AdS/CFT ideas, we discuss transport phenomena in the dual theory.
