Zero frequency limit of gravitational radiation in high-energy collisions

We review the Zero Frequency Limit method, in particular its application for the head-on collision of two black holes and for the computation of the radiated energy and momentum in such collisions. We compare these analytical results against the latest results from Numerical Relativity and linearized Einstein's equations. Finally, we generalize the existing calculations in the Zero Frequency Limit to the case of generic, non head-on collisions, and compare the predictions against numerical results.
