Black hole-neutron star collision finally detected by LIGO-Virgo

It has been now officially announced that the LIGO-Virgo antennae detected a black hole-neutron star collision on January 5, 2020, and detected another black hole-neutron star collision on January 15, 2020, see here.

This is another extraordinary feat and CENTRA congratulates the LIGO-Virgo collaboration for this long awaited breakthrough.
