The Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) just released the results of the 2019 evaluation process with CENTRA being classified as Excellent.
There were three major items in the evaluation, namely, (a) Quality, merit, relevance and internationalization of the research, (b) Merit of the team, (c) Objectives, strategy, plan of activities and organization.
In each item CENTRA got 5, the maximum classification. Thus, CENTRA is a 555 center.
