Title: Holographic Abrikosov Vortex Lattices

Abstract: Holography has been proven to be a very powerful tool for studying strongly coupled Condensed Matter systems. Within this framework, particular attention has been given to superconducting and spatially modulated phases. In this talk, I will discuss the behaviour of a holographic superconductors in an external magnetic field. As we will see, a lattice of vortices will be spontaneously created at low temperatures. What are the properties of the system in this phase and how universal are they?
