Title: Black hole mergers in the extreme mass ratio limit

Abstract: Black hole mergers with huge mass ratios are expected to happen in the center of galaxies. In this talk I will explain how to easily construct the event horizon of black hole mergers in the exact limit in which one of the black holes in infinite with respect to the other. I will also discuss the differences induced by the rotation of the black holes and their relative orientation. By studying this limit one can already capture some generic features of event horizons of black hole mergers regardless of the mass ratio.
