Title: Gravitational Waves and Primordial Black Hole Dark Matter
Speaker: Martti Raidal (National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics, Tallinn, Estonia)
Abstract: I merge three ingredients, the gravitational wave events observed by LIGO, the (not yet observed) stochastic gravitational wave background and the predicted non-monochromatic mass spectrum of primordial black holes produced by inflation, in order to study whether those objects can constitute the dark matter of the Universe. I also discuss possible ways to alleviate the present constraints on primordial black hole population, for example by assuming primordial wormhole dark matter.
