ABSTRACT: Dark fluid is considered as a cosmic medium, which acts indirectly on the electromagnetic field. Five mathematical schemes are discussed for description of coupling between electromagnetic field and dark fluid, which consists of dark energy and dark matter. One scheme can be denoted as non-minimal coupling; other four schemes are associated with classical pyro-, piezo-, striction and dynamo-optical effects. Cosmological applications are discussed.
