We present a general method for solving the field equation of
Einstein and Einstein-Maxwell gravity minimally coupled to scalar.
The method is used to prove a new no-hair theorem and to derive broad
classes of black hole solutions with scalar hairs - asymptotic AdS
solutions, Domain Wall, Lifshitz and related interpolating solutions-
which could be relevant for applications of the AdS/CFT correspondence.
