In 2015, the international community celebrates the International Year of Light, and the centennary of Einstein's field equations. A meeting on March 13 on the Year of Light was held in Lisbon. Among the speakers, Vitor Cardoso and Ilidion Lopes described te role of light in General Relativity and in our understanding of dark matter.
