In the context of a program aimed to give more exposure to the research work pursued in the European Space Agency, Sante Carloni was interviewed on his experience with in the Advanced Concepts Team. He describes part of the multidicisplinary research work that has stated in that context. Some of those research lines are still pursued today by himself within CENTRA and other research groups in Europe (e.g. SYRTE-Observatoire de Paris, University of Ljubljana, Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (CSIC), Universitat Politècnica de València, Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, ESA).
