The weak gravitational lensing effect is of increasing importance
in cosmological studies, so it is a good point at which to examine w
hat can be done with the effect which is beyond the obvious.
In this talk I will discuss three such avenues of enquiry:
(i) the prospect of using radio telescopes for weak lensing;
(ii) the opportunity to use more detailed galaxy shape information
 in lensing; and
(iii) the combination of lensing with other cosmological probes
 to constrain modifications to Einstein's theory of gravity.
