Abstract:

To characterize the EOS of the dark energy based on SNe Ia Hubble
diagrams requires to decrease the present dispersion in the SNIa
calibration relation. Systematic effects, like extinction and evolution
with redshift, may limit the precision by which SNe Ia could be used to
measure Cosmology. Observations indicate that brighter SNe Ia occur only
in systems with ongoing star formation and that the majority of SNe Ia
comes from young progenitors. In this talk I will focus on the challenge
to understand, from a theoretical point of view, the dispersion in the
calibration relation and the link between SNIa progenitors and light curves.
