The NRHEP white paper edited by V. Cardoso, L. Gualtieri, C. Herdeiro and U. Sperhake was published as a Focus paper in Classical and Quantum Gravity. This paper was a written summary of the discussions and presentations that took place in the Numerical Relativity and High Energy Physics Workshop

Visit to CCTP in Crete
Thursday, November 15, 2012Vitor just visited Crete (wonderful food, climate and people), hosted by Elias Kiritsis and his group. He talked about black hole dynamics and the development of superradiant instabilities of massive bosonic fields outside Kerr.
Helvi graduates

Helvi Witek graduates with distinction from IST. Her thesis, on black hole dynamics in generic spacetimes and numerical evolutions will soon be available in the group’s website. The jury, composed of Cardoso, Gualtieri, Herdeiro, Lemos, Pretorius and Sperhake awarded her a distinction for outstanding PhD work. Helvi is moving to Cambridge in November.
