Rocha in Highlights of CQG

This year, a paper by Jorge Rocha (with Figueras, Jamsin and Virmani), “Integrability of five-dimensional minimal supergravity and charged rotating black holes,” was selected as a Highlight. Congratulations Jorge!

Postdoctoral positions in GR & HEP
Tuesday, September 20, 2011The Centro Multidisciplinar de Astrofísica (CENTRA) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the area of General Relativity, High Energy physics and black hole physics, including Numerical Relativity. The appointment is for two years, subject to funding renewal and satisfactory performance. Funds for one additional (third) year are possible.

INFN thesis prize for Pani
Tuesday, September 6, 2011Paolo Pani was just awarded the INFN (Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics) prize for the best thesis. The prize will be awarded by the INFN President on September 14th. Needless to say this is a prestigious occasion, and we are all proud to have Paolo working with us.
